The Chiri Coffee Washing Station, managed by Zablon Trading Plc, was founded in 2014 and spans 2 hectares. It collaborates with 1,125 local farmers who cultivate traditional Ethiopian varieties, offering seedlings, financial support, and delivery bonuses to boost sustainability and improve the quality of life for coffee farmers.

The washed coffee process includes a meticulous sequence: cleaning, washing, pulping, controlled fermentation (12–16 h), second washing, drying on raised terraces (10–14 days) and careful storage before shipping.

The station maintains a strong commitment to environmental conservation, managing water use and ensuring proper waste treatment.
